Seminar in Real-Time Control Solution 2008 was jointly organized by Googol Technology and Solutions 4U Sdn Bhd in Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) on 28th October 2008.

Googol products including Inverted Pendulum, Ball & Beam, Ball & Plate, XY-table, Magnetic Levitation system have been displayed. The 100 participants, including deans and department heads from over 20 universities as well as other institutions, were greatly impressed by the performance and effectiveness of Googol products. They felt satisfactory and highly valued the seminar.

The Opening Ceremony of “Core Technology Platform for Advanced Machine Manufactory” was jointly held by the HKUST, SZ-HKIER and Googol Technology on 13 October in Shenzhen IER Institution.

As the first collaboration project under the policy of "Hong Kong-Shenzhen Innovation Circle", the platform is operated by Googol Technology. With the great support by the Hong Kong and Shenzhen Governments, aid by the Automation Technology Centre of the HKUST, the platform will focus on the technologies in motion control, driver, machinery & mechanical design, vision and robotic, to form a lot of sizable system integrators and electronic equipment manufacturers, and therefore to strongly support over tens of industries fields, such as chips, PCB, computer, melding, printing, textile, in Shenzhen surrounding areas.

The ceremony was officiated by Mr. Chu Jianping, Chief of Shenzhen Bureau of Science & Technology of Nanshan District, Shenzhen. Guests of honor included Mr. Chen Yingchun, Deputy Mayor of Shenzhen, and other senior officers from Hong Kong and Shenzhen government. Over 100 guests from HKUST, Hong Kong and shenzhen enterprises participated in the ceremony.

The ceremony was also reported by more than 10 media.

The latest release of Ball & Plate System and Four-Rotor Hover Vehicle by Googol Technology have passed the examinations of the State Intellectual Property Office of the PRC, and were issued the Appearance Patent Certificates.
The Four-Rotor Hover Vehicle is mainly used by undergraduates, graduates and control theory researchers to carry out the verifications and research of various control theories such as optimal control, robust control etc. The Ball & Plate System is an ideal platform for senior undergraduates, graduates and teachers who are interested in the control process of dynamic system, classic control theory, modern control theory, motion control, digital image processing and other courses.

The latest-model Embedded Motion Controller, GUC-400-ESG-P01-I, newly designed and produced by Googol Technology has successfully passed CE certification.



The new type is based on combination of embedded PC main board of X86 with Googol’s existing DSP motion control card in a hardware platform. GE- series multi axes motion control card was used as its control part that performs excellent functions in control of point-to-point motion, continuous trajectory motion, and laser power, while X86 embedded PC main board performs as general operation system, and thus it has the advantages of high reliability, small size, user-friendly and high cost-effectiveness in comparison with the original PC-plug-in motion controller. The new model is applicable for laser cutting & engraving, laser marking , dispenser and other compact equipments.

GUC-400-ESG-Laser, the all-in-one embedded laser cutting & engraving control system integrates both motion control and laser control functions in one single slim compact controller. Based on high speed CPU+DSP+FPGA architecture, the controller has excellent performance, simple structure and stable operation. Googol Technology has newly released the GE800 motion controller and Embedded Standalone Laser Control System.

GE-800 series motion controllers developed by Googol Technology Ltd is a low cost 8-axis DSP based motion controller, specially designed for point-to-point motion control. Owing to its capability of perfect positioning and velocity profile curves, it is used for quick and accurate positioning applications, and suitable for the equipments that adopt high-speed and high-precision point-to-point motion modes, such as PCB drilling machine, SMT, Bonding machine, etc.

The Embedded Laser Control System is a standalone processing control system possessing both motion control and laser control functions. Googol's educational products obtained national patents

Googol's Ball & Beam System, XY Table, Educational Product Profiled Base have recently passed the audit of the State Intellectual Property Office of the People's Republic of China and were awarded the State Design Patent Certificates.

The application for the patent certificates of a number of newly developed products, including Educational Modular Machine Tool, Circular Acrobatic Robot, Magnetic Levitation System, Ball & Plate System, 4-rotary wing Flying Simulator, Laser Oscillating Mirror Motion Controller are being processed.

The first training course held by the Motion Control Technology and Application Laboratory, jointly established by Peking University, the Hong Kong University of Science & Technology and Googol Technology Limited, completed in celebrations on 24 June 2007. The trainees have learned much from the course.

Googol Technology has newly released the all-in-one embedded motion controller. GE Series Embedded Motion Controllers originally designed and produced by Googol Technology have successfully passed CE certification. From now on, all GE, GT, GU series motion controllers had completed CE certification.

Mr. Kassim, Managing Director of Intelux ICT (M) SDN. BHT, together with his parterners and scholars from University Technology Malaysia, visited Googol Technology from January 10 to January 14, 2007. They have visited the laboratory of Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and checked out some demostrations of Googol's products of in Hong Kong and Shenzhen respectively. After some discussions about business collaboration and partnership in research projects, distributorship contract was signed on January 12. Intelux ICT will be the distributor of Googol Technology in Malaysia.

Googol Technology has newly signed a distribution agreement with Afro Asian International (Pvt) Ltd ("Afro") to jointly explore Pakistan Market.

Afro Asian International (Pvt) Ltd was established in 1964 and now a Private Limited Company handling international level projects. Afro will distribute the Googol industrial orientated educational products in the field of automation and control to the territory of Pakistan.

Googol Technology has newly released two types of innovative multi-axes motion controllers, which can control motor motion, laser power, and laser scanner as well.

GT-400-SCAN scanner motion controller is a type of 4 axes controllers based on PCI and PC104 bus interfaces. Equipped with higher frequency DSP processor and FPGA, it can control scanner, motors and laser synchronously and efficiently. Moreover, the motion of each axis is mutually independent. With larger memory, higher control performance, and more precise control command set, the controller is widely used in the industrial fields such as sophisticated processing, semiconductor incision, high speed forming and laser drilling, etc. .

GE-200-SV-SCAN laser scanner is a type of 2 axes controller. ISA, PC104 or PCI bus types are selectable. This type of controller can control scanner, motors and laser synchronously and effectively. The scanning capability varies from small scan field to large scan field, suitable for the uses of laser cutting, laser engraving, laser drilling, etc.

GE-300-SX-Laser series motion controller is newly released by Googol Technology to meet the specific requirements of oversea customers We have received lot of positive feedbacks from our domestic customers already. The GE-300-SX-Laser series motion controllers contain -SG and -SV models which are developed base on Googol's economic model GE-300-SG motion controller. The main feature of this series motion controllers are the consideration of the synchronization and coordination between the motor motion and the laser system, supplying of specific signal for several sorts of laser system, such as CO2 laser, or YAG laser (equipped with terminal board named GA1-400-ACC2-OYAG). Googol Technology has signed a distribution agreement with Leeder Enterprises Ltd., which will sell Googol's educational, automation and mechatronic products in Greece, Algeria and Balcanian countries.

Googol Technology has been invited to join the Chinese National Standardization Committee of Industrial Machinery Electrical Systems ("NASCIMES"). Mr. Wu Hong, General Manager of the Company, was invited to be one of the committees. As one of the branches of Standardization Administration of China ("SAC"), NASCIMES is responsible for the national standardization of electrical equipment of industrial machinery in China.

"Since China joined the WTO, the professional standardization has become more and more important. However, the adoption level of technical standardization in China is now relatively low. As the only one of the NASCIMES members of foreign capital enterprises in the country, Googol's participation indicates the recognition of its professional status of electric equipments and machinery in Chinese market. The State Intellectual Property Office of P.R. China promulgated the patent clearance to Googol Technology on September 1 in 2004 for the new design of Inverted Pendulum that designed by Googol Technology.The patent clearance number is ZL200330114101.4, for a term of ten years. The Inverted Pendulum is an unstable non-linear system. It is an excellent facility for education and experiment about the control theory. At present, hundreds of Chinese and oversea universities are adopting Googol's Inverted Pendulum for their education and scientific research.
